The Travelling Child is a project about creating informal pop-up engagements with children during travel across various parts of India. Sometimes it takes the form of charts and papers, sometimes on walls, mud, bricks, or even just tree branches. The idea is to provide children with interesting prompts, offer them a safe space for activity, and follow it with small storytelling sessions about what they created.

It is an ongoing project, with a deeper intention of understanding children from different parts of the country—how they approach materials, perceive art, and interact with their surroundings. By observing this, the project seeks to explore childhood itself: how children make sense of the world, their interests, daily lives, and the communities they belong to. For the love of children, The Travelling Child continues to run on the move, creating spaces of curiosity wherever it goes.
